Iran Makes History at 2023 IHF Men's Youth World C’ship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Iranian handball team defeated Burundi 46-24 on Saturday in the 2023 IHF Men's Youth World Championship to book a place at the competition’s main round.
Iran had shared the spoils in a 26-26 draw with Sweden on Wednesday and defeated Faroe Islands 29-27 on Thursday.
The 2023 IHF Men's Youth World Championship is the 10th edition of the championship and is being held from August 2 to 13 in Croatia under the aegis of International Handball Federation (IHF).
It is the first time in history that the championship is organized by the Croatian Handball Federation.
