Azmoun to Make Roma Debut in Empoli Match
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian striker Sardar Azmoun is reportedly closing in on his debut for the AS Roma.
The Iran international signed with Roma late in the transfer window and required a few days of additional training in order to fully recover from a calf problem.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Azmoun’s injury woes are behind him and the player has responded positively in training.
Azmoun is now expected to be fully integrated in Mourinho’s group training sessions with the objective of making his debut for Giallorossi in the first game after the international break versus Empoli, slated for September 17.
