Iran Moves Up One Place in FIFA Rankings
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran's national football team moved up one spot to 21st in the FIFA rankings released on Thursday.
Wins against Germany and Turkey in the recent international break consolidated Japan's position as Asia's highest ranked national team.
Argentina remained top, followed by France, Brazil, England and Belgium.
The next FIFA World Ranking will be published on October 26.
