Iran’s Men’s Kabaddi to Meet India in Final: 2022 Hangzhou
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s men’s kabaddi team defeated Chinese Taipei 47-24 in the 2022 Asian Games on Friday.
Earlier in the day, India had defeated Pakistan 61-14 to book a place in the final.
Iran had defeated Pakistan 43-16, Malaysia 53-23 and South Korea 64-23 in its previous matches.
Iran’s men’s kabaddi team is the defending champion.
A record high of nearly 12,500 athletes from 45 countries and territories compete across 40 sports in the 2022 Asian Games.
Iran has sent 289 male and female athletes to the Games in 34 sports events.
