Iran Volleyball Coach Candidates Finalized
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Vahid Moradi, caretaker of the Iran Volleyball Federation, said the federation has finalized a shortlist of three candidates for the National Team head coach.
Roberto Piazza, Vladimir Alekno, and Saeid Marouf are the final candidates for taking charge of Team Melli.
Alekno has previously headed Iran in the 2020 Olympic Games, where Team Melli finished in ninth place.
Piazza currently leads the Netherlands and Marouf is a former captain of the Iran national team.
“We will select the head coach of the national team before the end of January. We have negotiated with more than 15 coaches and finally, we chose three final candidates for the job,” Moradi said.
