TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A dramatic scene unfolded at Tokyo's Haneda Airport as a Japan Coast Guard aircraft collided with a Japan Airlines Airbus A350 on the runway, leading to a blaze.
Japan Airlines disclosed that Flight 516, carrying 367 passengers and 12 crew members, experienced the fire incident but successfully evacuated everyone without any reported injuries.
The Airbus A350, operating a domestic flight, encountered the fire around 6 PM local time on Tuesday, setting off a concerning situation at the airport.
Images broadcasted by NHK depicted a harrowing sight of fire engines striving to contain the flames that engulfed the entire plane. Thick black smoke billowed from the windows and exits, marking the severity of the incident.
