Iran Comes 27th in 2024 IHF Women’s Junior World Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran finished in 27th place in the 2024 IHF Women’s Junior World Championship.
Iran defeated Uzbekistan 40-31 in its last match.
The Persians had suffered three successive losses against the Netherlands 34-11, Romania 33-15 and Brazil 30-22 in Group A of the 2024 IHF Women’s Junior World Championship.
Iran lost to Tunisia 26-23 in the President’s Cup Group I and defeated Chile 27-25.
Iran lost to the Czech Republic 29-17 in the 25-28th place.
The event is being held in North Macedonia from June 19 to 30.
