Iran Wins 2024 Asian Youth Beach Handball Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated Thailand 2-0 on Friday to claim the title at the 3rd Asian Men’s Youth Beach Handball Championship.
Prior to the final, the Iranian team secured victories against Oman (2-1), Jordan (2-0), China (2-1), Qatar, and Indonesia.
The tournament took place in Bangkok, Thailand, marking the third consecutive time the event has been held there since its inaugural edition in 2016.
With this victory, Iran has also qualified for the Youth (U-17) Beach Handball World Championship, scheduled for June 17-22, 2025, in Hammamet, Tunisia.
