Iran Downs Philippines at 2024 IWBF U23 Asia Oceania Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated the Philippines 80-28 in its opening match at the 2024 IWBF U23 Asia Oceania Championship on Monday.
The Persians will also meet Australia later in the day.
Iran will then face Japan and Saudi Arabia on Tuesday.
The top three teams will qualify for the 2025 IWBF Men’s U-23 World Championship.
The 2024 IWBF U-23 AOZ Championship is being held in Bangkok, Thailand from November 17 to 22.
