Iran Discovers Rivals at 2023 IHF Men's Youth World Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran discovered its opponents at the 2023 IHF Men's Youth World Championship after the draw ceremony that took place in Zagreb, Croatia on Friday.
Thirty-one teams who have already qualified entered the draw, with an additional one side – the IHF Inter-Continental Trophy Winner – still to be decided.
The 2023 IHF Men's Youth World Championship will be the 10th edition of the championship to be held from August 2 to 13, 2023 in Croatia under the aegis of the International Handball Federation (IHF).
It will be the first time in history that the championship will be organized by Croatian Handball Federation.
Group A: Portugal, Croatia, Rwanda, Algeria
Group B: Hungary, Slovenia, Morocco, New Zealand
Group C: Egypt, Iceland, Japan, Czech Republic
Group D: Spain, Republic of Korea, Brazil, Bahrain
Group E: Denmark, Austria, Chile, Mexico
Group F: Norway, Montenegro, North Macedonia, IHF Inter Continental Trophy Winner
Group G: Germany, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, the US
Group H: Sweden, Faroe Islands, Iran, Burundi
