Palestine, Lebanon Resistance Movements Reiterate Firm Position on Confronting Israel
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The leaders of Lebanon’s Hezbollah and Palestine’s Hamas and Islamic Jihad reiterated the resistance movements’ firm stance on confrontation with the Israeli regime and its aggressive policies.
Hezbollah Secretary General Seyed Hassan Nasrallah on Saturday received Saleh al-Arouri, deputy head of the Hamas’ political bureau, and Ziad al-Nakhaleh, the secretary-general of Palestine’s Islamic Jihad movement, in Beirut.
They reiterated the firm position of all the forces of the resistance axis to confront the Israeli regime, its occupation and arrogance, Press TV reported.
It is necessary to maintain coordination and permanent communication among the resistance movements, especially in Palestine and Lebanon, to pursue all the political, security and military developments so that appropriate decisions would be made, they said.
Furthermore, the parties conducted a joint assessment of the situation in the besieged West Bank and the upsurge of the resistance movement there.
The senior Lebanese and Palestinian resistance leader also shed light on the recent threats posed by the Israeli regime.
