Iran Earns Second Win in 2024 FIBA U-18 Asia Cup
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated India 70-53 in Group B of the FIBA U-18 Asia Cup 2024 in a game held at the Arena Complex on Tuesday.
Iran had eased past Kuwait 90-53 in its first match.
Iran’s Salar Taheri and Amir Mahyar Keramati finished with 13 points apiece, while Pedram Fallah and Mani Gigasari added 12 and 10 points, respectively.
All 11 players of Iran have contributed at least 2 points in a lopsided contest to start Group B play.
Iran will play South Korea on Wednesday.
The competition is being held in Amman, Jordan, from September 2 to 9.
