Iraqi Resistance Targets Israeli-Occupied Territories with Cruise Missiles

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Islamic Resistance in Iraq launched cruise missile strikes on Israeli-occupied lands in support of Palestinians and Lebanese, as well as in retaliation to Israeli attacks on civilians.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced on Tuesday that it targeted three areas within Israeli-occupied territories using multiple Al-Arqab advanced cruise missiles.

In a statement, the Iraqi resistance fighters said the strikes were carried out in solidarity with the Palestinian and Lebanese people, as well as in retaliation for the massacres committed by the Israeli regime against civilians, including women, children, and the elderly.

The group emphasized that this latest operation was part of its broader response to Israel's ongoing genocidal aggressions in Gaza.

In addition to attacking Israeli targets, the Iraqi resistance has been carrying out operations against US bases in Iraq and neighboring Syria, against Washington's support for Israel's criminal acts in Gaza.

On Tuesday morning, Iraqi resistance forces launched a series of rocket strikes targeting a US base near Baghdad International Airport.

According to two Iraqi military officials, three Katyusha rockets were fired at the base, which houses US troops.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq has intensified its attacks against both Israeli and US targets since Israel began its military campaign against Gaza in early October.

As a result of the Israeli war, at least 41,600 Palestinians, primarily women and children, have been killed, and over 96,000 injured.

The ongoing war has also displaced approximately 1.9 million people within Gaza, forcing nearly 90% of the population to flee their homes.
