Iran, South Africa Share Spoils at 2023 FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran and South Africa shared the spoils in a 4-4 draw in the FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup South Africa 2023 on Wednesday.

Iran was defeated against Argentina 5-4 in Pool B in its opening match and defeated the US 8-3 and Australia 6-4 in its following matches.

Team Melli is scheduled to play the Czech Republic on Thursday.

Iran sits in second place in the pool with seven points.

The competition started in Pretoria on February 5 and will run until February 11.

The top-four teams from each group will advance to the quarter-finals.
